Update your business name holder details

If you're the business name holder and your details change, you must let us know within 28 days.

Details you聽need to聽update include:

• your name (e.g. from a name change through marriage or legal name change)
• your residential address

If your birth details are incorrect, you will need to聽request a correction.

If the holder details for your ABN also need updating, you'll need to contact the (ABR).

How to update your holder details

Please note that you can't appoint a new holder with this transaction, only change details of an existing holder. If the business name is being sold or transferred to someone else, you need to transfer the business name.

Step 1 - Sign up and log in to

You need to link your business name before you can update the holder details. See聽Linking a business name to your account. for more information.

Step 2 - Select your business name in the 'Lodgements and notifications' tab

Step 3 - Select 'Change holder details' from the transactions list and press 'Go'

Step 4 - Select either 'Update name' or 'Change address', enter the new details, select 'Save' and 'Next' to continue

Step 5 - Confirm your details and submit the transaction
