What documents can I lodge using EDGE?

EDGE can be used to lodge the following documents:

• Application for registration as a registered Australian company (Form 201)聽
• Notification of resolution - change of company name (Form 205A)聽
• Notification of a registered agent ceasing to act for a company (Form 361)聽
• Notification of appointment or cessation of a registered agent by a company (Form 362)聽
• Notification by officeholder of resignation or retirement (Form 370)聽
• Application for reservation of a name (Form 410)聽
• Change to company details (Form 484)聽
• Statement in relation to company solvency (Form 485)聽
• Notification of change of registered office or office hours of a registered body (Form 489)聽
• Notification of change to officeholders of a registered body (Form 490)聽
• Request for correction (Form 492)聽
• Notification of supplementary information (Form 902)聽
• Application for voluntary deregistration of a company (Form 6010)聽

What data can I receive with EDGE?

If you become a registered lodgement agent, you can use some of our free electronic information services. Below is a brief summary of what information you can get.

Data download

You can request a download of company details by lodging a聽Request for Company Details聽(Form RA71).听

This provides a list of all companies on our database that are linked to you.

Review date report

You can see the upcoming聽review dates for all companies linked to you by聽lodging聽a聽Review Date Report聽(Form RA61).

You can select聽two dates (dd/mm/yyyy鈥揹d/mm/yyyy) and the report will show all company review dates in that timeframe. These dates can be up to a year apart.

Documents lodged report

You can see a list of聽all documents lodged by a particular company聽by lodging聽a聽Request Documents Lodged聽Report聽(Form RA65).

A start date may be entered to specify when the list is to begin. The start date must be within 3 years.

Company debt reports

There are two types of company debt reports:

• Individual company聽鈥� To report on聽a specific company linked to you,聽lodge a聽Request for Individual Company Debt Report聽(Form RA63).听You need to supply the company name and Australian Company Number (ACN).
• All companies聽鈥� To report on all companies linked to you,聽request聽a聽Request for All Companies Debt聽(Form RA67). Only聽two RA67 requests can be made per day.

Companies with a zero debt balance will not appear on the reports.

Data amendment report

To see any minor data corrections made by ob体育 during processing, lodge a聽Request for Data Amendment Report聽(Form RA17).

How can I join EDGE?

If you'd like to register for EDGE access, you'll need to:

1. Read ob体育's Electronic Lodgement Protocol and complete the .
   
   
2. Send the signed application to ob体育 via:

We will process your details and register your application. Once complete, we will聽send you:聽

• your registered agent number
• your EDGE identification and password,聽and
• a reference guide on how to lodge with EDGE.

3. Get EDGE-compliant software. See Digital Service Providers聽for more details.

4. Load company records onto your computer using your EDGE software. EDGE can send copies of ob体育 company records directly.听

Electronic Company Registrations

Using EDGE also allows access to ob体育's Electronic Company Registration (ECR). ECR allows you to register companies using your EDGE-compliant software.听

Electronic Company Registration

Electronic Company Registration (ECR) is a service that allows direct access to our registers. You can register companies online and make payment by direct debit. Features include:

• lodging applications for company registration and applications to reserve a name
• automatic name determination
• a dedicated support team to help with any system or payment issues
• updates on the status of your application
• support for agents, including access to accounts information
• authenticated service by using an聽approved X.509 certificate
• access to direct debit accounts and the ability to 'pre-pay' funds
• direct delivery of company registration certificates
• automatic updating of ob体育鈥檚 company register

Customers will need to use聽EDGE-compliant software聽to use ECR.

Direct debit/credit payment for lodgements

If you use EDGE to lodge documents that have a fee, you can pay by direct debit or credit.

To set up direct debit or credit payments you will need to complete a聽Direct debit request聽(Form RA04). This authorises us to debit money from the company's account.

If you are choosing direct credit, you do not need to nominate any account details, but you will need to deposit money into your ob体育 account before you can start lodging forms.
